A key pick-up in 2020, Silver Ferns shooter Te Paea Selby-Rickit returns for a fifth year with the Tactix in 2024. After spending nine seasons with the Steel, the experienced Selby-Rickit has injected stability, accuracy and a winning mentality at her new home. A confident, accurate and strong moving shooter, Selby-Rickit has evolved her game in recent years through consistent court time and mastering both shooting positions to equal effect. Otaki-born, Selby-Rickit gets through plenty of work in the attacking third while her height and strong shooting accuracy combine to make her a constant threat. She also demonstrates her playmaking craft inside the circle through clever offloads and movement. Making her Silver Ferns debut in 2016, Selby-Rickit highlighted her international career with a World Cup winner’s medal in 2019 and Commonwealth Games bronze in 2022.
