Midcourter Samon Nathan made the most of the lifeline offered in 2019 to earn a return to the Tactix in 2020. Plying her trade for the Marvels in the Belo League, Nathan was called up as a permanent replacement for an injured Erikana Pedersen after four rounds of the 2019 season. Usually from wing attack, Nathan quickly slotted into a resourceful and well-performed midcourt. An innovative operator able to play all three midcourt positions, Nathan is a quality mover, has a natural eye for the gap and is able to effectively combine attack with defence. Nathan first played at the elite level with the Pulse in 2016 before returning home to play for the Mystics in 2017 and 18.
