Gaining her first elite-level contract, shooter Jess Allan makes a return to her roots and will line up for the Tactix in 2024. Allan has spent recent seasons as a training partner for the Steel and Tactix and now gets the opportunity to push on. Athletic and willing to go to the post, Allan, who can play both shooting positions, got plenty of court time for the injury-ravaged Steel team last season so is not a complete novice. She will have learnt plenty and as part of a settled and strong Tactix squad has the perfect opportunity to enhance her credentials. Previously, Allan had built a strong track record at school and provincial level.
