Promising midcourter Holly Mather made the most of her opportunities last year and returns for a second season with the Tactix in 2026. In just her first season at the elite level, the athletic and energetic midcourter fitted in seamlessly to play an instrumental role in the team’s run to winning a maiden title for the Tactix last year. Playing for the Comets in the NNL in 2024, Mather was elevated from training partner with the Stars to injury cover in the midcourt the same year. She went on to become a central figure for the injury-hit team, gaining regular court time while delivering a quality range of skills with her driving play and deft feeding touches on attack to be subsequently picked up by the Tactix. Playing most of her netball out of her home region of Northland, and Auckland, Mather has set the platform and is poised to build on her exciting promise and potential while adding another layer to the Tactix midcourt.
