With their on-court playing roster returning to Christchurch, the VIP Frames and Trusses Tactix have now finalised their off-court team for the 2025 ANZ Premiership netball league, which includes a few new faces.

Sports coordinator and foundation staff member at Rolleston College, Carolyn Corbett will be the new Tactix team manager.

A dedicated sports administration professional, Corbett has extensive experience in sports coordination. She is looking forward to taking on the operations leadership with the team and fostering a positive team culture while exuding a passion for promoting athlete development and operational excellence.

Coming in with a strong pedigree, Naomi Sutton takes on the role of Event Manager. Her previous experience includes supporting the delivery of the FAST5 Netball World Series, Silver Ferns events and wider New Zealand entertainment events.

Currently with Mainland Netball from a previous background working in schools and radio, Emma Thorpe will step into the role of Partnership and Engagement Manager. She will share match day duties with Sutton, while also linking players into the community and connecting with partners.

Former Silver Fern Donna Wilkins returns to the roots of her playing days and first experience as a head coach, in 2025. Being part of the set-up for the past three years as a specialist coach she is already a familiar face in the Tactix environment.

Back for a second year in the role, the experienced Te Huinga Reo Selby-Rickit will be the team’s assistant coach. She returns in 2025 with her first child by her side, who will no doubt become a popular member of the team.

The Team Analyst role has been taken up by Dom Coleman while Alana Malcolm reprises her role as physiotherapist and Mark Drury returns as the strength and conditioning lead. Former Silver Fern Dr Lesley Rumball returns as the team doctor.

Alongside this group, there will be support from Rebecca Cooke (nutrition) and Jesse Hansen (mental skills) with Anna Simcic in her role as Athlete Life/NZNPA PRM. Marketing and social media shall be led again by the talented and able Papiermache team with Joanne, Melanie and Lily the key players.

``We have a new-look management team and while it is always sad to see great people depart we are delighted with the calibre and quality personnel we have on board for the 2025 season,’’ Tactix general manager Kate Agnew said.

``There are a lot of experienced heads and diversity among a strong core of experts, who add the necessary ingredients for a strong all-round showing from the team, both on and off the court.’’

The VIP Frames and Trusses Tactix open their 2025 ANZ Premiership campaign against the Steel, in Christchurch, on May 11.
