Trident Homes Tactix defender Jane Watson will sit out their Round 9 ANZ Premiership double-header after sustaining afoot injury this week.
The Tactix take on the MG Mystics on Sunday afternoon and Te Wānanga o Raukawa Pulse on Monday night, both games to be played at Christchurch Arena in Christchurch.
Watson has been working with the team’s medical staff and will continue to be monitored over the coming week as she follows the return to play protocols.
Tactix training partner and Mainland defender Julia Wynandshas been called into the side as cover and will remain with the team for both of the Round 9 matches.
The Tactix are currently sitting in third spot on the ANZ Premiership points table.
